NorLense in the Gulf of Mexico

NorLense has for a period been heavily involved in the offshore oil spill recovery of the Deepwater Horizon accident.

After partnering up with Louisiana based shipping company Edison Chouest Offshore and FRAMO of Bergen in Norway we have mobilized a fleet of ORV to combat the oil spill at open sea. The Oil Recovery Vessels are equipped with NorLense R-series offshore oil containment boom systems. The capacities and performance of these offshore boom systems maximizes the effectiveness of operations in the demanding conditions of the Gulf. NorLense staff of qualified service technicians and On Scene Commanders are integrated part of the offshore operations.
