The NorLense Oil Trawl is an innovative oil spill recovery solution that makes clean-up faster, easier and more effective. It also makes the job less dangerous for workers. The Fast Current Boom System from NorLense is a containerised one-man-operated system with single point inflation of the boom part. The deployment and the retrieval of the system is operated by only one person.
NorLense was established in 1975 and is today a world-leading supplier of oil spill response equipment and complete solutions with inflatable high-pressure tents (Shelter Solutions), aquaculture and bespoke projects. The company is located with headquarters in Fiskebøl (Vesterålen), with sales offices in Sandvika, Brazil, Australia and now the U.K. The company continues to grow its good position in the international market with a number of references. We are continually developing our products to meet the demands of customers and have a good position for further growth.
NorLense is in a strong growth phase, and our new U.K. office will serve as hub for local and international customers. The U.K. has been a focal point for Oil Spill Response innovation and a strategic position ever since the Tory Canyon Oil Spill in 1967.
